It looks as though my point wasn't made clearly.

I can sit down for half an hour and list things I don't like about Casino Point. I could do the same for dive boats. My point wasn't to make one seem better than the other. They are two different trips/experiences and they both have their pluses and minuses. Quite frankly, I don't really care if anyone likes one more than the other. I have no clue what "virtual shop" the OP refers to... but it doesn't matter. If someone's going to make a comparison about costs, they can't blindly compare what a direct producer charges to the cost from someone that HIRES this direct producer. Of course the owner has the ability to charge less while still making a profit.

To be more specific, my point was that the right to set the value of a product or service someone provides is their own. The right to keep that price where it belongs is the market's.

I don't tell the car wash guy he should charge me less because he doesn't really NEED that additional $5. I didn't pay less for my education because my university didn't really NEED to build a new lecture hall. If I can show someone there is value in spending another $10 to buy MY widgets and the customer agrees and buy from me instead of someone else... cool.. I make money!
