Yes you can board the night before - suggest a light sleeping bag and personal pillow (though they do have blankets and pillows aboard). Be sure to park in the portion of the lot where it allows dive boat parking - watch for the signs near the Greek restaurant which is in front of where the Spectre docks.

They do not require dive buddies - up to the diver. If you want one, the divemaster will help you find one, but if you prefer solo, just let them know.

For a gear bag, sugggest either a soft gear bag or a short "rough neck" brand box ($9 at HomeDepot, etc.) - these will fit under the seats of the tank cubbies - a great idea that is unique to the Spectre.

Lunch is a tasty BBQ - chicken or tri-tip. (I'd go just for lunch!) If you call in advance and ask for the all inclusive deal, air, breakfast, lunch and non-alcoholic drinks are included in the price.... keeps a cap on your out of pocket at the end of the day.

They also have a hot tub aboard - great way to end a day's diving.

Enjoy!
