Hey, when did the professionals get in on this? I know you and you can probably identify 90% plus of the world’s mollusks by genus and species on sight. Of course you are right. No way a world-class shell collector such as yourself could miss an assimilis. This was not seen on the trip in SM Bay on 2.25.06 but was from the “horseshoe” as you well know. The only thing I might be able to "teach you" is typing - assimilis has one "l". Later...
