Eric, at the risk of sounding like I'm just standing up for another shop owner, I'd have expected you to have done your homework on this a bit more thoroughly before advising Rey to file a complaint.

Now I realize that you posted this as an individual, but I think that as President of GLACD, you've got a higher duty here to get to ALL the facts.

Did you talk to Steve? I'm assuming not. If you had, you'd have discovered two things: (1) Rey still has the books for the course, which go for $150. (2) Rey's original receipt (according to Steve - I haven't actually seen it) clearly states that $100 is non-refundable.

Rey, feel free to offer any comments if any of this is wrong.
