Merry Passage and I braved the fog this morning for a visit to Garden Spot off Rancho Palos Verdes. Visibility was ten to twelve feet with a lot of sand particles suspended in the water. I found the usual assortment of critters but the good news is that the jellies are back!

There were salps at the surface as we anchored at the reef. During my safety stop, I had a fried egg jelly and Apolemia uvaria float in front of my camera. The jelly didn't turn out so well. Merry had a juvenile Mola Mola approach after she turned off her camera and strobes. We had bad timing.

It was good to get back in the cold water (53°) to test drysuits and housings for leaks. Everything remained dry.
