We've had rain mid-week for the past two weeks, messing up the dive conditions for the weekends. The National Weather Service is predicting thunderstorms for Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Merry suggested we try to sneak in some diving today before the waves get too big. I was hesitant, expecting little to no visibility after the nine footers that rolled in Sunday. Fortunately, I was wrong. We had one foot surf and twenty feet visibility at Kevin's Reef and Halfway Reef. I could have shot wide angle today but would have been crazy to think that. Merry and I were both using snoots on small critters, and we actually found a few today. The water is down to 60° so there may be a chance our local reefs are recovering.
