Go Figure. We hit some of the good shelling spots in E San Pedro shelf where it is usually lousy vis and had 15-20 feet, as good as it EVER gets. It is usuually 3 feet vis there. Sheller got what he wanted. We did the Johanna Smith and it was great - first time I could see enough to really appreciate the lay out on the wreck. Top water was brown, then a layer of water full of salps, tinophores (SP?) and jellies and then clear water at 50 feet and below. Great day topped off with sandwiches from Busy Bee Deli in San Pedro.
