I'm starting to wonder if there is anyone designated to remove these deadly abandoned gill nets. At this point it appears to be a sick horrible problem with no solution in place. Every day that thing sits there it is killing huge amounts of sea life. If it were a person sitting out in the ocean doing this very same thing - a swat team would have been called by now, eye witness news would have been all over it, and somebody would have woken up Judge Ito at 4am.

Because it is an inanimate killer instead of one with a clear human face everybody ignores it? I don't get it.
