OK, I'm going for it.
I'm going to do the crab opener dive at Doran Park November 3rd at 12:01 AM (season opening day)
I'm going to get there Friday evening (2nd) sometime and grab a campsite all the way out by the end where the east jetty starts. I'm going to barbecue up some tri tip or whatever for dinner then I'm going to have a campfire and drink tea or coffee till it's time to jump in. The water's only a few hundred feet away from the campsite and hopefully the bay will be glass flat with decent vis. After I get out with all my crabs I'm going to crack a beer then crash out in the back of my pick up till dawn.

This will be the first time I've done this but if it's anything like bug diving I'll be funner n' hell.

I think I 'll stand a very good chance of getting a limit of very nice large crabs.

If anybody want's to go and give it a try let me know.

All this is weather dependant of course.
