Darren,
If you have the opportunity, you should actually test fly a reg before you buy - everybody has their own preferences.

Personally (having used many US Divers & ScubaPro products) I prefer ScubaPro units. They are and always have been quality products with great service. I still have my first-ever, new purchased regulator – a Mk V – bought in 1972. It’s been in for tune up/service every year and upgraded (for free) by ScubaPro. It’s a better reg now than when I bought it and still gets used on a regular basis along with other ScubaPro regs. 35 years for a piece of life support equipment says all you can about the quality of the products.

And remember this is just one guy’s opinion.

Stay wet
