This list is based on facts like it should be. I suspect there have to be remains and a autopsy. Before a shark attack fatality is added to this list.

How many people have been lost to shark attack and not counted. Because no remains were ever found. They were just wrote off as lost at sea or a drowning victim.

For example, I remember the shark attack incident from TV news reports about the death of Tamara McAllister. They found her remains. Roy Stoddard was with her and most likely died from a shark attack also. They did not find his remains. So he will never be on this list.
