The Fish and Game Commission has received the signed OAL "Notice of Approval of Regulatory Action" per Gov. Code Sec. 11349.3 for their regulatory action to amend section 630 and adopt section 632, Title 14, CCR (Channel Islands Marine Protected Areas).

The regulations were filed with the Secretary of State on March 10, 2003 and become effective 30 days thereafter, or April 9, 2003.

Also note that this weekend is the Channel Islands Monitoring Workshop at the Bren School of Environmental Science, UCSB.
