You blathered on about the evils of air and all this stuff that would be an "extra" set of chores because of being stuck breathing air. But you never made any attempt to provide information other than innuendo about technical stuff is somehow cooler than regular diving. In that you implied that there are "penalties" for air use. But the half truths and innuendo you stated don't really hold up. Like your 15 - 30 fpm ascent because of air. Or the 'long 3-5 minute stop' because of air.

The interesting part is that you seem to believe that Eric was coming to you for advice and that your experience was going to somehow frighten him into working hard to eliminate 21% from his tanks. It is one thing to be a pedant when you have the facts and the ability to discuss reletive merits of differing methods, but when you spew out buzzwords and rhetoric, it just doesn't cut the mustard.
