If your wing is a Pioneer 27 I assume you secure your SMB through the small loop at the bottom which is beneath where the crotch strap is threaded through the bp slot. My SMB is a Buddy from the UK, larger than most, so I find it convenient to fold it and secure it in the bp pad pocket which is ABOVE the crotch strap, hence the problem removing it. But the crotch strap is a non-issue for me since I've retrofitted a device that allows me to pull the left shoulder strap tight and stretch it out when I unbuckle the belly web. So the only thing I have dangling between my legs is...can't continue or I'll get bleeped!
