I hope nobody dies.

Today was the opening weekend of ab season on the North Coast.
Every year it seems there is always a fatality.
I checked the conditions this morning and the bouy report was 13 feet at 15 seconds with a minus tide of -0.4 around 11:30 am. The winds were going to get up to 20+ knots with 4 foot wind chop on top of the swell.
These are horrendous conditions that nobody in their right mind should even consider going out in.
I know there are divers who travel long distances to attept to dive no matter what, but I don't think some stupid abalone is worth a human life, they're not that good!

I don't want to pick up the local paper tomorrow
and find out someone died, even worse, somebody I may know.
